Morphion

Morphion is a Spectral Motion Processor designed to transform any audio into evolving textures through eight animated EQ molecules, layered movement and independent modulation. From subtle tonal animation to dramatic spectral deformation, it continuously reshapes the frequencies inside your sound while adaptive protection manages concentrated resonances and output sample peaks.

Six Motion Layers and six Scene Layers combine into complex, looping trajectories, while reactive behaviour connects the movement to the incoming performance. Each molecule has independent Frequency, Gain and Q controls, letting you shape everything from broad spectral sweeps to narrow, shifting accents.

Event Horizon pushes neighbouring frequency regions across the stereo field. Energy Shift follows clusters of three or more molecules with moving phase dispersion, spreading transients and creating fluid tonal motion. Gravity attracts molecules towards persistent peaks in the input spectrum. Tension uses cuts from molecules A and H to boost complementary regions, progressing from broad spectral lift to intricate moving peaks at higher settings.

Reverb, Bitcrush, Delay and Granular expand the sound into space, texture and time. Reorder the four modules to explore different interactions, then animate their controls with independent LFOs. All 66 main, molecule and effect knobs have their own modulation settings, including tempo synchronization, direction, Jitter and Smooth. The interactive LFO designer lets you add points and drag curves to shape both their contour and timing.

The live display brings the spectrum, EQ response and molecule movement into one view. Morphion includes 140 factory presets across Atmosphere, Bass, Guitar, Synth, Vocal, Drums and Effects, plus Init. A resizable interface, Dark and Light appearances, and independent Low Quality and Low Latency options help adapt the workflow to your session.
