“Someone gave this plugin too much freedom.”

Filteria is a modular motion effect built to transform static audio into dynamic, living sound. I designed it to make creative modulation effects possible without requiring complex routing or long setup sessions.

At its core are two interactive Filter Modulation modules and a flexible Pitch Warp engine. The filters can modulate each other through FM and resonance interaction, while Pitch Warp can receive movement from both. Each module can be reordered, allowing the visible layout to define the real signal flow.

Every creative knob has its own LFO Designer with tempo sync, free timing, multiple shapes, direction, depth, smoothing and jitter. Movement is displayed through animated knob rings and a dedicated Visual system, making complex modulation easier to understand and shape.

The reorderable Effects rack includes Bitcrush, Granular, Pan, Phaser, Flanger, Formant, Delay, Reverb and a 32 step Trance Gate. Effects can move anywhere in the chain, creating anything from subtle stereo motion and evolving filters to granular textures, rhythmic transformations and experimental sound design.

A fixed Equalizer, Soft Clipper and Final Limiter provide controlled finishing, while 480 factory presets offer starting points for drums, bass, vocals, pads, pitch effects, filters, atmospheres and more.
