Resoteric

Resoteric is a Dynamic Resonance Suppressor designed to identify harsh peaks, ringing frequencies and unstable tonal buildup as they appear, then apply matching reduction only where it is needed. It can analyze the source itself or use an external sidechain as its reference, giving you transparent resonance control as well as creative frequency conscious ducking.

Resoteric listens for resonant energy in real time and applies frequency matched reduction only inside the areas enabled by its suppression focus map. It can work as a self detecting resonance suppressor or use an external sidechain to shape the main signal.

External sidechain detection lets competing sounds create space for each other without applying a permanent EQ cut. When a vocal, kick, snare or lead enters, Resoteric follows its active resonances and reduces only the matching frequencies in the destination channel, then releases that space when the conflict ends. This makes it especially useful for separating kick and bass, keeping vocals clear inside dense arrangements, controlling layered instruments and creating cleaner bus relationships. On mix buses and mastering chains, self detection can gently stabilize accumulated resonances while preserving the movement, tone and spectral detail of the full mix.

The live display places the processed spectrum, external sidechain and measured reduction in one view, so what you see remains connected to what you hear. Resoteric includes 63 presets across Bass, Drums, Vocal, Mixing, Mastering, Guitars and Synth categories.
